Long before I held a camera, I held a pencil. As a teen, I would spend hours sketching faces. I would scour fashion magazines for subjects; capturing the curves of a smile, the spark in someone’s eye, the small, unspoken details that make a person who they are. I dreamed of becoming a portrait artist, not just to create beautiful images, but to honor people through art. Today, I’ve traded the pencil for a lens, but the heart of my work remains the same. I am not a typical photographer. I am a portraitist. I don’t photograph things, I photograph people and animals. And I do it with the same curiosity, reverence, and attention to nuance that captivated me as a child. And as it turns out, I still love fashion too…. Every person I photograph is an original masterpiece. My passion is drawing out the facets of character that make you... you. The softness, the strength, the spark. Whether I’m capturing an executive’s quiet confidence, a couple’s electric connection, or a woman stepping fully into her own power, my art is about seeing and honoring the human before me. Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Kimberly — a photographer and mom of two who knows firsthand how magical (and fast!) childhood really is. Our kids change in the blink of an eye, and those little expressions, quirks, and personalities we adore can feel impossible to hold onto. That’s why I’m passionate about capturing the real moments — the genuine smiles, the in-between expressions, and the everyday magic that becomes more meaningful with every passing year.
